My friend wants to leave her house

My friend is in an abusive relationship in marriage. She wants to escape her husbands house. She wants protection once she is in her mothers house so husband does not beat her after going there. What should she do? Also she wants to take her 6 year old girl with her. Pls explain what she should do.

A.If your friend is unable to lodge a complaint , then you can file complaint with the police immediately. If she or her minor child or both are locked or in inhuman conditions then you can ask the police to immediately recovery them from illegal custody. Your friend can also approach the court for custody of the child.

A.Register an FIR against such person for domestic violence. Then file a suit under Domestic Violence Act for restraint order.
