BETTING BETTING

Hello All,
Horse Race betting is legal in India as it is considered a game of Skill rather a game of Chance...The Turf Clubs in various states oversee such activities..My question is....Can an employee from government sector or from a public sector undertaking (PSU), take part in betting..?? Is it legal..?? Are there any restrictions..if any...??
Please provide me with the relevant information..
Thanks..

A.Dear Client
Your question is a good question. But it is difficult to give you lengthy answer. In case of rummy also police book the case as 3 cards since rummy is a game Like that some exemptions are there. You better read any race course
bye laws. For example BANGALORE TURF CLUB LTD just search in google. As a well wisher I advise you to far from these habits.

A.Hi,

Let me take you back to 1996, when SC rules that race is not just luck base but also skill-based, hence Un PA 1888 and GA 1930 is not illegal. And gradually it got popular in India.

I don't see any legal issue for participating in this.
