i am landlord i have rented a shop whether i should ask april,may month rent after lockdown ends.otherwise i can detect from advance amount.tenant is earning more money befiorelockdown.
A.Dear Sir,
You can easily deduct the arrears of rent from the advance and amount and get issue a legal notice to him to vacate. Let him go to the Court. Govt has not given you any concession to you in payment of house taxes as such govt circulars not binding upon you. Please give me Rank 5 if you feel my answer helped you

A.Hi,
There is no restriction to collect rent from commercial premises.
You can surely ask the rent once the lockdown gets over.

A.This should be your discretion to ask for the rent or wait (on humanitarian ground) or else you can have a word with the tenant that how would he like to pay. If he is financially well then there should not be any problem else you can take a liberal view. Legally there is no way that he cannot pay unless you have an agreement with clause for non-payment due to this kind of unseen events. (force majeure)
