Hi, I am living with my husband and two kids in Mumbai . It's lockdown period and nobody is allowed to go out but my husband is not listening and continue going out with no reason and I have arguments over this with him so he left for his native place in Punjab. So I just want to ask you is there any need for putting a complaint in police station as I don't know how and when he will reach Punjab. Thanks

A.Dear Sir,
Now you can lodge complaint online. In Bengaluru it is possible if you go through the following link. Similarly you can lodge complaint online. If your story is true then approach the different authorities. You will get released by the police. You need not worry anymore. Law has big hands of rescue.

A.Dear Maam,
In cases of domestic and familial matters it is always advisable to keep the police away as it makes things dirty, unless it is critical depending on the facts and situations. So, in case you feel that there has been lot of acrimony in the relationship and things can have bad results that may land you into trouble in that case you should keep the police updated.
So please use your discretion to arrive at the conclusion and if you fell that it is needed then get a general diary done at the nearest police station.
