A.The petitioner has to sign before the designated authority, Court commissioner, affidavit executing officer to ensure the presence & identity of person presence and verification of signature with due recording in the registry.

Usually (in Karnataka ) there will be no stamp paper will be used for Court affidavit. It will be green sheet attested by either Oath Commissioner or Notary Public.
