I have one query regarding the adoption . I got to know from my mother’s house help that her sister is pregnant 3rd time , she already has 2 daughters .

If she gives birth to a girl child again she is ready to give her for adoption her situation is not so good in term of money as she also works as maid .

In this case , can i adopt the girl and what would the procedure . How do I need to proceed if such case appears .

Please let me know if this is possible of course it totally keeping faith that she might or might not have girl child as she took chance to have boy .

A.You have not mentioned whether you are married and if you are a male/female and the faith to which you belong. Assuming that you are married, you can adopt this child, with the consent of the biological parents. However, payment of money is absolutely prohibited for adoption of a child. Under any circumstance, you must not offer any money.

Further, there must be a ceremony of some kind which conveys the act of adoption by the parties concerned. This is based on the assumption that you are a Hindu and the child also belongs to the same faith.

A.If you and the maid who will give her child for adoption are Hindus, then there is no bar in Adoption. The process is you have to take the adoption by a Adoption deed which has to be registered with the appropriate registering authority. And she and her husband both have to sign the adoption and in your case you and your spose both, if you are not a single.
