Voluntary Retirement Scheme Voluntary Retirement Scheme

I applied for Golden gate scheme of VRS last year in my Public Sector which has a provision of 2 years salary on exit. But I was told that I was not eligible for the same without a clear reason. I filed a representation but no reply has been given. now due to my circumstances, i wish to opt for normal VRS which does not provide 2 years salary on exit. My question is if I leave the job by taking normal VRS and later it is found that I was eligible for Golden Gate scheme also, will I be able to claim the same by filing a writ? Will my taking normal VRS affect the cause of action and can court say that I opted normal VRS I cannot claim Golden gate VRS.
An early advice in this matter shall be immensely helpful.

A.Hi,

Once you opted for normal RS, it would be tough for you to claim golden gate scheme.
