Demanding rent in lockdown

In vijaywada, does house owners are allowed to collect rent on students even they returned to their homes during lockdown? (From April to June)
A.Payment of rents are postponed but not waived off. You being a young person must understand the situation and stand in the shoes of land owner and take decision thinking that he is your father and solely dependent upon the rents only. Govt and banks have not given any concession. Please read extensively and try to understand the people and their problems. Please give me Rank 5 if you feel my answer helped you.

A.Unless and until you surrendered your tendency to your landlord you are liable to pay the rent of each and every month but if you don't want to give the rent and don't want to return back to your rented premises then please wait to file the civil suit against you, as you have the vacated the premises, I don't think that you landlord will opt for filing a suit against you.

A.If the students have finally ended the tenancy and handed over the possession to the landlord, then he can not claim the rent after possession has been handed over. But if the students have kept the possession of the rented premises with them and temporarily went to their homes during lockdown, then the landlord can collect rent of those months.
