Online hotel booking

I have booked hotel in dubai for my friend dubai trip via one famous online booking site. when he reached the hotel they confirmed they dont have the contract with the particular website. but the site already took the full payment from my credit card so he paid the rent in cash payment. is it possible to get the compensation?

A.dear client first lodge a complaint with police because once website people close down their site it is difficult to trace them. You can file for recover , compensation under available Laws.
