Grievance and Compliant against HDFC Mutual Fund

I am a 70 years old retired person. Me and my wife have been investors with HDFC Mutual fund since September 2016 and have had high regards for the Fund . I started my investment with HDFC Prudence Fund - Dividend Plan. Until 2018, the fund showed consistent and good performance . Post SEBI circular dt Oct 6,2017 on “Categorization & Rationalization of Mutual Fund Schemes”, HDFC Prudence was merged with HDFC Growth Fund to form HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund .
We are of the opinion and belief that we have been lured in a deceitful manner by the misleading information published in the pamphlet of HDFC Mutual Fund dated 20 June 2018.Thereby , we incurred huge capital losses to the tune of Rs 57 Lakhs (jointly by me and my wife) due to continuous poor, non performance and misled fund.HDFC -BAF was wrongly pushed by HDFC stating that it retained same attributes & investment philosophy of earlier performing HDFC Prudence Fund. We are seeking legal guidance based on % of recovery basis only.
