Recovery of money

If somebody has taken money from me promising something and failed to do that and now if not responding or absconding, then according to Indian Penal Codes which are the codes using I can file a case like recovery of money, cheating, may be the harassment or mental agony i suffered and any other code that will make a strong case on my side and a fear on the accused side???
A.The promise must be to do legal assignment then only you will succeed. For example if you asked him to get govt job then you will be held responsible for seeking illegal favors.

1) Sir now you are behind the Indian Penal Codes, it is nice that you are aware of them . If somebody taken money by promising something then you must have written it on per with a LEGAL ADVICE from a lawyer about the same which is Called as “Promissory Note” then such kind of Cheating of money & absconding would not have taken place.
