How can I get my paid token money back from seller of flat after deal was cancelled because of the current pandemic in country and I'm not financially good at present. The deal was done on Dt. 16th March 2020.

A.Pls. let me know the following before I can suggest some solution
1. Did you make any Sales Agreement ?
2. Do you have the Payment receipt for the advance payment you made?

A.If any such evidence then yes otherwise try to solve it amicably

A.1) You have not mention which city, state and village you are from.. ?
2) where is the flat and what was the token amount given by you?
3) If you want to cancel the deal was there any agent or somebody between you both the seller and the buyer so that you can go for amicable settlement...
4) If the amount is big you will have to wait it as the seller must have forwarded your money to somebody else or request for him to give you a post dated cheque and make a MOU for cancellation of the same...
5) If any of your friend is interested in buying the same flat you may make the internal adjustments in between you both and keep the token amount with you and complete the sale deed with the new buyer and old seller..
