Mat suit filed other state

My sister filed maintanence against her husband in kolkata which is pending in the court. But her husband filed Mat suit in other state. My question is can he do that?

A.Dear client,
File 498A case against him by your sis at kolkata. And issue him notice by court, once he will face criminal case and would appear in case , he may compromise to lift case at another state. Otherwise you will have to get it transferred from that state to file at Supreme court to get it transferred.

A.Yours sister has to engage a lawyer get file an application saying that it is not maintainable on territorial jurisdiction. ground

A.Yes ha can do that. However legal remedies available for your sister. Pls. elaborate the nature of Petition with section filed by your sister as well as her husband.
