In 2018 when I was staying with my parents at jabalpur as my wife was pregnant one afternoon when I was coming back home a guy who was overspending started arguing with me saying I didn't give signal while turning when there was enough distance between my vehicle and his and then started abusing hearing the commotion my dad came out of the house and heard him abusing me so gently tapped his head and said not to abuse he immediately hit my dad with his helmet on his face so hard that he fell on the road and started bleeding in his mouth after which I caught him my dad also started pulling him in this milee he fell on the bricks kept beside road as a house was getting constructed opposite my house & got hurt on head the mistake that we did was that my parents didn't allow me to file a police complaint saying it's a small matter but two days later we were informed by the police that a case has been registered against us and refused to take counter complaint stating time has lapsed the case is in court now and in December I went back to Mumbai for my job. Now due to corona I was working from home and when situation started getting worst I came back to Jabalpur to spend my time here last Saturday when I was going to fetch milk in the evening I guy was standing in front of my gate and as soon as I came out of my house he clicked my picture and before I can understand ran away. Kindly guide what should I do.

A.Going by the contents of your post, a case is registered against you, but without the details of case i.e., FIR it is difficult to guide you.
The contents of FIR needs to be known, and that, the provisions under which case is registered has to be stated, based on which next course of action can be shared.
NOTE:
If FIR is registered, check with the concerned police, and obtain bail immediately, followed by getting it quashed before High Court.
With regard to taking your picture by the person is concerned, probably he might have taken it to share it with police, as you were not there in Jabalpur till then.
As stated above, act immediately, check with police and obtain bail etc.

A.You have rightly admitted your mistake in not lodging complaint though you were victim. It seems that when police refused to proceed on your complaint thereafter also you did not proceeded further. Had your father got him treated for his injuries? Since matter is already in court hence details are required to be examined to suggest remedies. Probably the miscreant boy had taken photo just to show that you are residing at your residence. There is also possibility that the boy want to terrorise you. If required consult with details.
