Release of documents deposited in court
My lawyer had deposited some of my documents in Hon Civil Court. This was done bcoz I had to be appointed as Guardian of my mentally retarded sister. Now the Court Order had been released. However the documents are yet to be released by the Hon Court due to COVID. Now what is the alternative for the release of documents.
A.Get special permission and get release the documents.

A.You need to make an application for return of the Original Documents.
If the documents are marked as Exhibits, then you need to obtain certified copies of said documents and substitute the original with the Certified Copies.
If the documents are not marked as Exhibits, then you can get them back.
All the above activity will be done by your Advocate.
You need to sign the Affidavit filed in support of return of documents petition.
