Property Family Dispute
My mother passed away. So there was a common room, she had 4 children 2 sons and 2 daughters. As a son, I am demanding 50% of that room, which my elder brother is denying, saying he looked after our mother so he deserves 100%. No documents are there regarding that room and the house is about 100 years old. What to do, can you please suggest?
A.All of you get equal share.

A.In case if a female dies intestate, her property devolves upon her children and husband.
If you are Hindus, her property will devolve upon all four of you i.e., you will get 1/4th share from out of the property left by her (if your father pre-deceased her).
