Actually the case is that a firm registered a case against our firm for not paying some amount. In my firm their are 3 partners and one died 3 years ago since then our factory is closed. Now other partners are not paying the amount but i want to pay my share.
Is it possible to pay only my share?
Or
Is the liablity of one partner unlimited?
i.e the firm is forcing me to pay the whole amount by saying that the partner's liability is unlimited but its a huge amount and i am unable to pay that but still i want to pay my own share
Please help regarding it

A.After the perusal of facts and circumstances, it is vital to assert herein that if the partner ship firm is registered or not and if it's registered than liability stands on all the partners and if the same is not than there is other consequences.
You required the lawyer to whom you discussed with documents than only you shall get the best legal solution for the same.

A.your liability is not unlimited but you will have to prove the same . what is partnership deed and what are the stakes of each partner is matter which has to be seen . Contact lawyer remedy is there and dont pay in hurry
