I am a bank manager, recently I filed suit against wilful defaulter, a year later we came to know that we have filed for wrong amount. By this time I am transferred to new branch. Now who has to pay the court fee or extra charges incurred in amendment of suit amount
A.It being official act and you are guided by your bank advocate as such you need not pay any additional court fee. However you should not go against the wishes of your higher authorities since there are chances of initiating domestic enquiry .

A.FIRST OF ALL YOUR LAWYER MEANS BANK LAWYER WILL HAVE TO TAKE PERMISSION OF COURT TO AMEND THE PLAINT AND THEN REMAINING COURT FEE WILL HAVE TO PAY AND BANK WILL PAY IT NOT ANY OFFICER OF BANK

A.As per policy bank has to pay the charges but bank can conduct a inquiry against you and punish you for your negligence.

A.Hi being employee of bank you have acted on behalf of company and all the expenses and costs has to be born by bank . As per mistake is concerned on amount during filing it has been supported with docs /vetted by different persons at different stages so liability can not be fixed only on you as you have acted on goodfaith.
