What is the bail amount in case of 498a?? How can it be recover if I win the case??

A.Dear Sir
Normally court will lodge accused on a discussion of personal bond and surety bond of rupees 25000 or like sum but you need not ask to deposit any cash amount .

A.1. bail amount in 498a is usually 30 to 70 thousand, however, it is completely discretion of the trial court,
2. it is given in the form of the surety,
3. the surety stands relieved once the accused acquitted,

A.Dear client,
Bail amount depends upon the respective Magistrate. It may vary from one to another as it is a discretionary power with the magistrate.
Sir you can file a defamation suit against your wife but you cannot recover the amount.
