hi,
as my husband is working with a pvt Ltd company,i need some evidence against his income.so can i file a RTI and get his IT return and submit in court.otherwise how can i prove his salary,is other ways are ther if someone working in a pvt company.

A. Madam,

Yes. You can raise a query under RTI Act about your husband's IT returns, salary details and later after getting them, submit them in the court. Recently, Madhyapradesh High Court passed a judgement saying that it is a wife’s right to know her husband’s salary details:

A. Dear Mam,
In a broad sense no you cannot get it as it will be breach of privacy.
You need to submit an application to Court stating his income from the job.
If you know the name of the employer then that can be stated as well.
If he denies, then records can be summonned by court.
