Q.Regarding vehicle sale or purchase
17 years back I sold my bike. Just checked on internet and the bike is still in my name. I don't have any written proof that I had sold it to him . Now I contacted him but he said that he further sold it without any proof. I have his call recordings of current conversations in which he is saying that he didn't get the bike transferred in his name but got the form signed by me.
Is there any way to appeal to court that I dont posses that bike now... nor that person possesses, so that the court either orders the police to find that bike or else declare it lost.

Obviously police will not register any FIR without court intervention.

Note that in the appeal to court, I am holding the buyer guilty. Rather, I just want the court to order police either to find my bike or cancell the registration if not found.
Please suggest what to do.
That buyer is not willing to lodge the FIR of lost.
