one of my relative had taken a loan of rupees 15 lakh in cash for 6 months from me and did an agreement a 10 rupees stamp paper.but he did not return my money since one year.can i take action against him?

A.No agreement is valid in 10 rupees stamp paper. Your agreement is just like a receipt of loan amount. So, you have right to file a criminal complaint and civil suit against the people.

See if you have got the agreement done then certainly you can enforce that agreement and recover your money. But the thing is that if you go for a civil case it will take a bit of time. So, my suggestion would be to somehow get a cheque from him and then go for cheque bounce case as in this way you can recover your money faster. You can speak to me if you want a details understanding on this.
