Can I be company director while studying aboard

I have got visa to study a masters degree in the UK. Before travelling to the Uk I thought to open the startup company related to the software. UK permits only 20hrs to work while being in the tier4 visa. So, is it possible that one can be a director of the company and can study aboard?

A.Hello.
As per the Prohibitive covenant of the Rules for Tier 4 of UK Visa, working for a company where you hold a statutory role, such as director is Prohibited. Basically, you cannot engage in any kind of business activity.

A.Dear Client, approach UK based Attorney or Barrister on professional legal advise on it. Usually a country resident (permanent resident) would given this position. Please get legal advise from Immigration Lawyer regarding this.
