Should I take any action against my neighbour Should I take any action against my neighbour

My neighbours have been spreading rumours and allegations against my family after I got tested positive. They started claiming that the Suprabhatam and other sthotras are causing trouble and it was not the volume but the contents are bothering them. They have now started spreading rumours about our family to all the people. They never came to us directly instead they shout and use lousy words sitting in front of the house. My mother is mentally disturbed by them and is crying almost every day.
