hey i was a tetant and my owner gave me cheque when i left his flat but the cheque got bounced , now how can i proceed legally

A.u file a complaint u/s 138 NI act for recovery. after sending Demand notice within 15 days for the date of memo .

A.Yes. you can certainly proceed legally by sending mandatory legal notice under NI Act to him.

A.You have to immediately send him a legal notice for cheque bounce and demand the amount within 15 days of the dishonor of cheque , if the person does not reply to the legal notice then you have to file a complaint before the magistrate that comes under the jurisdiction of your bank branch within 45 days of sending the legal notice. Even a day delay in this matter will make this complaint non maintainable so you have to act swiftly.

A.Negosible instrument act short name NI act dealt with cheque bounce cases. You can send him legal notice as soon as possible bcoz this type of cases having strict time timeline.
