I have 4 storied building. I want to give 1 floor on lease to 2 people for residential purposes only. I don't have COMPLETION CERTIFICATE yet, is completion certificate necessary for Registered Lease agreement ?

A.Hi,
The completion certificate is mandatory as it validates the structure of the building. You can give the lease after the completion certificate is issued.

A.Hi,
The completion certificate is mandatory as it validates the structure of the building. You can give the lease after the completion certificate is issued.

A.Dear Client
As per your inputs you shall get occupancy certificate from your local municipal authorities, but you can get in to lease agreement with a clause that lease holders shall enter the premises once you are issued occupancy certificate

A.The Completion Certificate (CC) is issued by concerned Municipal Authorities showing whether the building complies with the rules related to permissible building height, distance from road etc., whether it is built according to approved plan and is ready for habitation.
The CC is required to ensure building is constructed as per approved plan with no deviations etc.
Thus, it CC is required.
