Can employer force you to serve full notice period?
I am on resign as company started salary deduction due to corona. As per appointment letter employee can pay salary in lieu of notice period, however tasks in hand must be completed. I am ready to server one month notice and pay salary with 18% GST for rest 2 month notice but now employer is forcing to server 90 days notice stating that project is in critical stage. I requested them to either roll back my salary package to actual package so that I could serve notice as my financial situation is not good or let me buy the notice period of 2 months and release me after a month. But they are nit ready and are not clearing things to me. Please help
A.Hi,
The best course for you will be to discuss your issue with the employer and come to an agreement. If not then you can file a complaint against the company.
