You need to file a complaint and initiate action under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act in the nearest Metropolitan Court within 30 days from once the notice period of 15 days given by you has expired. You can also file simultaneously a written complaint in the nearest police station to register an FIR under section 420 of IPC for cheating.
