How to get my share in the fathers self acquired property, without any will. How to get my share in the fathers self acquired property, without any will.

We are 4 brothers & 4 sisters. 3 sisters are married. I am living in another city. Currently 1 sister (unmarried) and 3 brothers along with mom living the passed away father's self acquired property. 1 sister living in the property with no talking terms with others and occupying big chunk in the property. She is abusive. This is trouble for everyone. Now how can i claim my share in the property? I want money instead of the physical property share, as i live in another city, is it possible? Please suggest.

A.Hi,
In the absence of a will you can file an application for your share in the property and can later sell your share for money.

A.Dear Client
As per your inputs the property is belongs to your father who is no more and he died leaving intestate, so all of you including your living mother have share in the said property, so issue a legal notice to other brothers, sisters and your mother then file a Partition suit in the Court
