Outside my house, I have an area of around 15 sq m where I planted Ashok trees. This area is covered by my house boundary wall and brick wall I have build to safe trees. Now, I believe Nagar Pallika is going to destroy this area and cut tree when in few months when they will build drainage system in my society. Kindly suggest what to do to save my trees from cutting and area being destroyed by Nagar Pallika?

A.If the purpose of acquiring the land is for benefit of general public, you cannot object for it.
If the property is your own, then the Department i.e., Nagar Pallika has to pay compensation for acquiring your land and thereafter, carry out the activity. If there exists alternate land / option, then you can move High Court seeking direction from court against Nagar Pallika to go for second option leaving your land and trees untouched.
