I am contractual staff nurse under east delhi municipal corporation. last month I have slipped in ICU Due to chemical on floor. I am asking for my salary under CCS leave rule WRIIL( WORK RELATED ILLNESS AND INJURY LEAVE) but department is denying. please advice me what should I do

A.Hello,
Since you suffered from an injury at your work place, your employers need to pay for the charges, you can approach labour court immediately

As per your facts, you sustained injuries during your course of employment, and employer shall be liable to pay such charges, if he is failing to do so you may approach labour court instantly

If any injury sustain during the course of your work, your employer shall pay for the treatment and pay the salary during your rest time. you can approach the labour court against your contractor claiming your salary under CCS leave rule
