Cancelled Trip due to Covid
I booked Maldives trip in the month of April through Travel Triangle (Travel agency) and got it postponed to October because of lockdown. As the situation is not yet come down to normal & even flights are not that frequent, I requested them to cancel my trip and refund my full advance amount of Rs.50,000 I am cancelling the trip because of global crisis and not for any personal reasons. They agreed for cancellation and refunded just 44,900 Rs and charged 6,100rs as cancellation charge even after keeping my 50,000 amount with them for 8 months. So I just want to know, in any ways is it possible to claim that 6,100rs from them ? What does the cancellation policy due to covid say ? Do they have all rights to deduct 6.1k even after keeping 50k with them for 8 months for cancelling the trip because of Covid ?
