School deny to change name in admit card

There is mistake in my admit card. In the Admit card my name is written as Obaid; but the correct name Syed Obaid. And I want to change it now only because it's not too late but school principal is not cooperating with me.
I want to add my surname because it affects my future.
I told him that I can bear the fine but he's not listening to me.
So please give an Advice.

A.You may get your name changed by the appropriate application to concerned govt authority. This will not require principal's interference.

A.Hi,
The most efficient through which the name change can be done is through the school authorities only. You can present a written application to the school principal again regarding the same.
