In my society in Ahmedabad, my flat is close to play area & garden area. There was rule in society to keep garden lights on till 10 PM in night. Suddenly society has changed the timings from 10 PM to 11 PM. The loud Garden lights & Noice created by kids while playing basketball after 10 PM till 11PM is disturbing our sleep. What action i can take to have a peaceful sleep as a fundamental human right. Kindly help.

A.Hello. You should first try putting forth the issues to the committee of the society or the secretary of the society. Even if that is of no avail, you can always file suit for injunction as you do have to right to peaceful possession and enjoyment of your residence and similarly right to sleep too.

At an initial stage, you should first contact your society's secretary and explain your concern to him. And if the issue is remained unsolved you should speak to the nearest police station
