Mental harassment by the chairman of co-operative housing society
3 years ago
The chairman of my housing society lives on the floor above me. His visitors have been harassing my family since March 2020. They have been running, throwing objects, and displacing furniture repeatedly, which creates scary vibrating noises on the ceiling of my home. This happens through the day and at odd hours after midnight. I have the recorded conversation of a conference call where the chairman can be heard saying in front of the secretary and treasurer that I will have to tolerate the disturbance, if I have a problem, I can report to the police. The chairman even threatened me in front of the cops by saying that he will get me arrested on false charges. NC has been registered against him. The managing committee is siding with him and has even violated the Memorandum of Understanding that was reached upon to end the nuisance. The managing committee is doing nothing to end the harassment. My family's privacy continues to be invaded for 8 months now. Please advice.

Initially, one more time, you may submit an application stating your grievance with the managing committee of your housing society.
However, if no action is taken, then-
You may approach civil court along with the NC and all the other evidences.
You can file a complaint against the chairman of the cooperative housing society with the nearest police station along with evidences and afterwards you may approach civil court along with NC.
