Tour refund Tour refund

I have booked a tour with a tour company in November, 2019. The amount given was about 8 Lakhs. Due to COVID the tour is rescheduled until further notice by the company. They have deducted 60,000 as expenses spent in airlines, hotels (No proof backing this amount) and not even returned the remaining amount to us. They are holding the amount for a year now and have just given us a credit shell. They are not ready to refund or provide any proof regarding the amount being deducted. Can they deny returning our money? How should I proceed if I want my money back, the whole amount?

A.Hello,
You can send them a legal notice if they are not returning your money. However, A credit shell is a credit note that can be used for a future booking, for the same passenger, also, the returning policy would depend upon the company.
