I want to register for special marriage act, but I have lost my previous marriage's divorce paper. What do I do?

A.Dear Sir,
You can get such papers again from the same Court if you apply for certified copies through any advocate.

A.Hi,
You can ask your previous partner or your lawyer for the case details and then file an application in the court to get a certified copy of the divorce.

A.Divorce decree is mandatory requirement for marriage in special marriage act.
if you remember case number then you can get another set from court.
Atleast you can approach your old lawyer who can easily get you copies of divorce decree if you not defaulted in lawyer fees.
