Aggressive & Invasive EMI reminders.
I have a perfect repayment record with no bounce or delayed payments yet I had to face this problem of excessive & rage inducing levels of EMI reminders, phone calls & SMS being thrown at me starting 7days prior to due date. Bajaj Finserv is calling me 6-8 times a day, 1 week prior to due date. They called my relatives when I was unable to pick their phone calls. Home Credit has been making an average of 15 reminder phone calls a day about 3-5 days prior. Aditya brila is making 6-8 phone calls a day with a combination of automated calls & personal calls 6 days prior to & on the due date. IDFC makes 4-6 automated calls starting a week prior to due date. After I answered a call, the next call would come within 10-30 minuets, made by a different executive of the same lender saying the same thing over & over again all day long. Customer care is dodging my queries regarding this & when I warned them that I will withhold payment if the calls are not stopped. Dishonest lenders like Bajaj Finserv blatantly claimed that "they cannot understand my query". My question is "How many EMI reminders that lenders (Bank & NBFC) are legally allowed to make to a customer & what can i do about these?".
Legally there is no prescribed number of calls a bank can make. Nonetheless, if you are continuously being disturbed by the bank you should approach the bank manager and let him know of the same.

There is no fixed number of calls that the banks are supposed to make for EMI. However, the banks cannot harass you. It is suggested that you file a complain with the branch head regarding the calls and have a talk in respect to the payment of the EMI's.
At your mercy they have to receive the EMI’s. You may ask them to approach Civil Court for recovery and they cannot use force illegally if it is unsecured loan.

I can see that you are very harassed by the calls made by various financial institutions. we need more details on your part as to the amount of Emi's pending on your part, etc. I would suggest you to talk to the managers of various branches, if this still persists, you can approach court.
However, i suggest you to provide us with more facts, to help you in better terms.
Regards.
