Data entry fraud

I got a call for the post of data entry operator which would pay me a sum of Rs. 10,000 for a week's work. They asked me to pay an amount of Rs.2000 as security deposit and processing fee and would provide with legal government contract. I paid the amount and received a fake invoice with no signature and no legal document. When I asked for legal documents, they said the invoice is only the legal one. They gave a huge amount work which is very difficult to complete in just 7 days and when I refused to work they asked me for penalty and said would file case against me. Why should I do? Can I get my money back?

This is data fraud which is being seen commonly now. You can file a complaint against the company and the person who contacted you.
