Can interfaith couple enter into live in relationship without parents consent
3 years ago
Hello,we are interfaith couple want to live together but the main problem is anti conversion law because its provisions are very harsh, because to marry we have to take prior permission from district magistrate and its very risky job because we dont want to attract the attention of varuous religious fringe groups,i want to know whether there is any loop holes in newly passed anti conversion law ? If its not possible can we enter into live in relationship? I also want to know legality of entering into live in relationship without parents consent and by doing so is there any possibility of violating any provisions of anti co conversion law .

The major consideration here is that you both must be above 18 years of age. If you are, you do not need to take your parents' consent.
You are free to enter a live-in relationship with your partner without violating any laws, the same view has been upheld by the Supreme Court. Interfaith couples can marry under the Special Marriage Act.
