sir, i am used book seller, i sent recently one shipment having 44 books to amazon. now they lost the entire shipment.
they paid me only rs. 1500 as re imbursement. but the books costs nearly rs. 44000 mrp.
in replies amazon says its their policy , as per policy the reimbursement has been given.

Wish you well!
Since you mentioned Amazon policy, it is a key document that will help understand the matter better.
Secondly, as a seller you don't fall under the category of consumer and do consumer case is not advisable. Nonetheless, a legal/demand notice claiming the amount is advised.
Also, please keep your receipts/memos handy to prove the cost of books.

A.hi,
here evidences need to be shown. the contract has been breached by amazon and non payment of the money is surely harassing you.
if you have the receipts or any evidences that the books costed 44000, you can send amazon a notice and later file a suit against them.
you can either go to consumer forum for it too. you can even demand consideration and compensation for mental harassment and amount which will be used while the court proceedings.
