OBC NCL Certificate.
My father is a High School Teacher (Govt. aided) with Class 3 post continued. His annual income was less than 8 lakhs till previous year due to which I had my OBC Non-creamy layer certificate. But this year his salary has increased and is above 8 lakhs.
Am I still applicable for OBC NCL certificate?
So can I now renew the OBC NCL certificate?

A.Hi,
While applying the “Income/Wealth Test” to determine creamy layer status of any candidate, income from the salaries and income from the agricultural land shall not be taken into account. Which further means that, salary is not to be taken into consideration in your case, since your father is government employee, however, income from other sources are to be considered. If your father's income from other sources is less than 8 lakhs then you are eligible for the certificate.

A.Hi,
If the income of your father from other sources is less then the required amount i.e. 8 lakhs, then you are still eligible for the NCL Certificate. Since salary is not to be calculated in case of government employees. It means that if income from other sources other than the salary and agriculture exceeds the income limit, then only the candidates shall be treated as Creamy Layer.
