Eligibility for OBC NCL
I am working for a private company and my salaray is more than 20 Lakhs/annum. Other than salary, I dont have any other income. Am I eligible to get OBC NCL certificate for my daughter for education purpose - IIT JEE Entrance exam? Based on my understanding from documents published on ncbc.nic.in, Salary shouldn't be included as part of income to check the eligibility, so I fall under the limit of OBC NCL which is 8lakh / annum (as there is no other source of income other than salary). Please advice if I can apply for OBC NCL certificate -http://www.ncbc.nic.in/Writereaddata/Report%20on%20Income%20Criteria%20for%20Creamy%20Layer%20-Pandey635817940067450735.pdf (income/wealth test)

Yes, salary is not to be calculated while providing NCL certificate. You can apply for the same.
