I have my name on 7/12 of our ancestral property at our native. There are many co-owners (cousins / uncles etc.) for the said property. I want to remove my name from 7/12 of the said property ( I want to relinquish the property as per my own desire). If relinquishment deed is to be done, consent of all co-owners is required. I guess, many of them will not give consent. In that case, how I can remove my name from 7/12 of the said property without taking consent of other co-owners? Please guide.
A.First execute a partition deed then settle it as per your wish

A.Hi,
You can have a partition deed executed, this will allow you to divide your share of the property and do what you wish with it.
