Children right on father inherited property Children right on father inherited property

Hi, I inherited property from my father's self acquired property by will.
I have 4 childrens and i would like to give my entire inherited property to one of my children, but other 3 childrens are objecting on this and they are demanding equal share on my inherited property. I believe that i can will my inherited property to anyone without my childrens consent. Since inherited property by will became self acquired property. Please advice me on this regard.

A.The property in your hand is an ancestral property and all of your sons, daughters have equal share in the same property. Although, ancestral property can be transferred by executing a will, but the same can be a subject to challenge before court.

A.Hi,
A property which has passed on undivided up to four generations of male lineage is called ancestral property. The property should be four generations old. A person inherits the property as a descendant.
As per the facts stated by you, the property appears not to be ancestral property.
Therefore, the property may be transferred to anyone, the owner wishes.

A.Hi,
A property is ancestral when acquired through inheritance from ancestors, this property is always shared by members of a coparcenary equally. On the other hand property is self acquired if it is earned by own efforts/learning or other human endeavor.
As per the facts stated by you, the property involved appears to be self- acquired property.
However, more information is required.
