I have filed a FIR on 4/1/2021. U/S 294, 506, 385, 325, 34 IPC. I have only one proof i.e. voice record. The inquiry officer refused to take my phone including memory card. Now what shall I do?

A.Hi,
A complaint can be filed with the State Human Rights Commission or the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) about the inaction of the police for the complaint filed. The National Human Rights Commission provides a facility to register and monitor the progress of the complaint online to the injured.

A.Hi,
You may file application with the trial court for seeking the status of your FIR. However, you may also request the investigating officer to preserve your evidences.

A.File one application in the trial court seeking status of the case registered on your FIR. Alongside said application, file one more application for preservation of your phone and call for forensic report on it through investigation officer of your case. In case of failure, file case in high court.
