I'm the only legal heir of my deceased parents living in my ancestral house in midnapore. The property is a leased one in the name of my father. What do I need to do to get the sale rights of the property

A.Dear Sir,
You have to get property transferred in your name and then lease deed to be changed in your name on the basis of death certificate of your father and then proceed to sell your property.

A.Hi,
After submitting the deeds to the property as proof of lawful ownership, you can apply for a mutation certificate. This will transfer ownership of the title from your father to you.

A.Hi,
You will have to apply for a mutation certificate to get the title transferred from your father to you. The title, lease and other necessary documents will be have to be summitted as proof of lawful ownership

A.First change the property to your name by producing your parents death certificate and legal heir certificate then after changing to your name you can proceed the sale
