Sir, I took 5 lack rupees loan for my friend for his some business needs. He promised me that he should pay all the EMI of loan amount. After 3 years he stopped sending money for the EMI. What can I do? I didn't have any agreement or check leaf, I only have some WhatsApp messages about the loan EMI with him. What can I do?

A.Dear Sir,
You have to initiate civil and criminal proceedings so that you can recover the amount. On the basis of whatsapp messages you can file money recovery suit.

A.You haven't mentioned that how have you given the loan amount to your friend.Once you taken a loan in your name its now your responsibility to repay it.
As per your words your friend has cheated you and turned dishonest for that there are seperate Civil and Criminal remedies for you to avail on the basis of the facts.

As per your inputs, your friend is induced you which amounts to crime, so using the whatsapp chat you can file a complaint in the PS against your friend

Since you have WhatsApp messages describing the same, you can send him a legal notice demanding payment of left amount.

A.Talk to him if he did not agree for pay EMI then you can go for FIR. with this section of IPC 415 that means of Breach of Contract.

A.Dear Sir,
You may get issue a strong legal notice on the basis of whatsapp messages. You have a strong case to file money recovery case on the basis of such electronic messages which are admissible under Section 65B of Indian Evidence Act.
