Gpa holder sold property to person a.in 2020.now in 2021 person a is saling property to b..b demanding for orginal gpa document..now person a telling that gpa misplaced..now it's good that b can purchase property or not..

A.Hi,
The encumbrance certificate will give you the property's ownership details, B can look into the same to determine whether the GPA holder had power to execute the sale.

A.Hi,
The original owners might be able to raise a claim on the property on the grounds that the GPA holder had no power to sell. You will have to contact them for clarity, and a copy of them same. The history of the property's ownership will also be mentioned on the encumbrance certificate.
