A.Dear Client,
If an individual fails to fulfill a promise to marry, it is treated as similar to a breach of contract. This means that one party may be able to hold the other party liable for breaking their promise.

The breach of promise laws that government promises to marry is called Heart Balm laws. If the individual is in a state that does not enforce heart balm statutes, then they will not be able to file a lawsuit for a breach of promise to marry.

Thank You

A.Only way of solving your matter / resolving your problem is by trying to convince his family/ parents. As you have asked suggestion in this Law website I have to tell you Courts cannot force anyone to marry some one.

A.Dear it's tricky situation. If you want to marry him and to get married to him if you file a case to put pressure on him then later on your relationship with him will be sour. So, in my opinion you should try to convince him to get married. In case you feel strongly against his denial to marry you then you can file a case of sexual abuse and rape under the false promise of marriage. But beware that lately some of the courts have taken a view that sexual relationship before marriage under the pretext and false promise of marriage will not be considered as rape. So, even if you want yo proceed in this manner there is no sure shot guarantee that judgement will be in your favour.
